 An exciting new development here at PD Woodcraft has been to become agents for an excellent two-part epoxy system known as the West System. It includes various resins, fillers, fast, slow and super-slow hardeners. An excellent epoxy to work with, we have found so many uses for it in our manufacturing and are sure you will too.  Automation for the dust extraction system We have made two excellent improvements here at PD Woodcraft. First we upgraded our dust extraction to a bigger, more efficient system...then we automated it! One touch of a button and all systems are go! Second, we installed two tracks for our Lucas Mill to run along. These help the mill to run smoothly and squarely and are an excellent complement to our automatic push/pull mechanism. Now the mill runs back and forth from the push of a lever rather than the muscle force of an operator. Photo Shoot 09/25/2009

 Pete needed a new business card to tell people about this website. The line up of pictures includes a redwood tree, milled redwood, corbells and a beautiful Wellington Chest which has corbell components on it. It is always exciting being part of a business which has such a variety of aspects to it from milling and machining to carving and furniture making. |
