Photogrammetry Scanning![]() While taking hundreds of photos in the blink of an eye the scanner sends the information back to a computer and builds a 3D model based on the information it reads. This 3D model can be used for many applications. We make a tool path of the 3D model and send it through to our CNC router to carve the model out of wood.

Marquetry

This is a photo of a marquetry and book-matched wooden veneer box Peter made for the girl he hoped would become his wife (she did - it was given to her with a ring inside!). The veneer is burl murtle and the woods used in the flower marquetry include bird's eye huon pine, ebony and sycamore.
