We do all our milling here in Coghills Creek. You are welcome to have your tree transported here and we will mill it. Timber Drying
Drying timber increases its value and makes it usable in more applications.
Kiln Specifications:
3.6 metres - in length
1 cubic metre - minimum order
12 cubic metres - maximum capacity

Furniture Making
We have a number of designs for bureaus, drawers, desks, tables, chairs and frames for upholstered furniture ready to go. These can be made in your choice of timber. Alternatively, we can make components for furniture or do a custom piece of furniture to your specifications. |

Copy Carving
Our copier machines efficiently carve ornate chair legs and do scroll work like what is pictured here for the top of a buffet side cabinet. |
Profile Moulding
We can make or match arcitraves, scotia, cappings, sleigh beds and more. |
Seat Saddling
We can mould seat bottoms to make your chair more comfortable. | We do our seat saddling on our pantagraph. Here it is doing a pedestal table leg.

Veneering
We can veneer odd shapes and sizes. Past jobs have included curved counters and edge banding. This is a madagascarebony veneer. |
Conventional Turning
We can turn chair and table legs, ballustrades and post caps like the one pictured here on our wood lathe. |

Timber Bending
Pictured here are two craftwood curves joined together to make a 180 degree curved front for a counter.
Marquetry
This is a photo of a marquetry and book-matched wooden veneer box Peter made for the girl he hoped would become his wife (she did - it was given to her with a ring inside!). The veneer is burl murtle and the woods used in the flower marquetry include bird's eye huon pine, ebony and sycamore.
Hand Carving
Do you have a logo, crest or image you want carved? We can also carve intricate architrave designs which can then be copied.
